Dàchi Hûî Mîze (/məˈnimɑ/ /ˈhʊɪː/ [sensible] [mood; attitude]) is a temperate Town located in Trasurampamla Zone, Àsu̹ Ûyu̹ Empire, within the Warrenese Shogunate.

The name Dàchi Hûî Mîze is derived from the Wareneese language, as Dàchi Hûî Mîze was founded by Aripius Êbmeg̈mèj, who was culturaly Wareneese.

Dàchi Hûî Mîze was founded durring the late 11th century, by Aripius Êbmeg̈mèj. The establishment of Dàchi Hûî Mîze suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Dàchi Hûî Mîze was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dàchi Hûî Mîze is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Dàchi Hûî Mîze is is constructed arround a series of crampt cobblestone mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Dàchi Hûî Mîze's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. The top tier civilian fortifications has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Looking around Dàchi Hûî Mîze you immediately realise that the locals are looking back at you. All of them. Everywhere you look somone is staring back at you analytically, looking over every inch of you, your gear, and your companions. As you get close to people, their hands move closer to their belt knife, or dagger. You may want to watch where you go and what you say...

Cultural Notes

Dàchi Hûî Mîze's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.

Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is short in Dàchi Hûî Mîze.

Dàchi Hûî Mîze is still bloodied by a recent violent conflict. A crushing bandit raid, a lost siege, getting caught at the periphery of a major battle, or some other calamity has inflicted severe damage on the place. Some communities may suffer a longer-term version of this, their youths lost in a grinding, endless battle against some perpetual threat.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century a local hero by the name of saved most of the town when a natural disaster struck Dàchi Hûî Mîze. The recitation of the hero's story remains a popular tavern and fair tale.
